BitCrystals Burns & Supply

PreviousHistoryNextUtility

Last updated 1 year ago

From September 2015 until February 2023, at the close of each month, EverdreamSoft burned an amount equivalent to 50% of the income from cards and in-game sales in BCY. A comprehensive report was regularly published to provide transparency in this process. The burn addresses used were:

  • Bitcoin : 1BURNSogXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXW3ny2Y

  • Ethereum: 0x000000000000000000000000000000000000dead

Remarkably, over 3 million BCY were burned during this time.

However, in response to community inquiries, EverdreamSoft took an initial step by discontinuing the burning of BCY tokens. Instead, the decision was made to accumulate them to establish a rewards pool for liquidity provision. The company anticipated that these utilities would bring substantial value to our community and play a major role in fostering the adoption and expansion of BitCrystals.
